I am building a new rig and am wondering which way to go for the monitor. any suggestions would be appreciated. 4K or 1440p with a ips panel. i do game a bit but mostly web design and photoshop

I7 6900k cpu

I have no experience with it, but wouldn't 4k fonts be too small for productivity?    I would try one before buying.

I'm still on 1080p so that's all I have.

i was also worried about the scaling issue but i read that windows 10 has a built in scaling and if i up windows to 150% the icons and fonts can be controled, i would like some input from people that have a 4K monitor at 28 or 27 inches.
