New Digital Storm user here (bought the ODE system)...
I'm having trouble with my audio.
I use the SPDIF/optical out on my PC to watch/play blu ray movies -- however my 5.1 setup only is indicating that 2.1 pro logic is being used.
I've gone through the control panel, but it doesn't seem to indicate that I have any speakers connected, just that digital optical out is on...I'm not sure what else to do..can you help?

There seems to be only one plays to plug in the TOSLink cable, I've tried looking at settings on the HD Realtek item and the sound item...seems like everything is setup right...but the output is still only 2.1

Any suggestions?

Follow up:

In the control panel -> realtek digital output(optical)->properties->supported formats..
when I click test on DTS or Dolby Digital, it shows that the encoding is coming over correct.

However when I watch Saving Private Ryan Blu-Ray, it shows it's converting DTS to PCM (through Nero KwikStart)...and I'm still getting 2.1.

No gaming is coming through via TOSLINK either.

Is the only option going the analog route with each speaker? Yuck.
