I am writing this communication to ask for advice on building a new cpu. This cpu will be used stricly for game porpuses only.. i want the cpu to be liquid cooled.. i want to run all games on max settings.. i plan on using a single monitor only..no 3d...should i get one gtx 590 or two 580? is the asus rampage extreme 3 the best motherboard out at the moment? is 6 gigs of ram sufficient or should i get 12 gigs?.. my budget is 5000... thanks in advice |

We need to know the resolution in which you will be gaming at before we and suggest a build that will fit your needs. The rampage mobo is "ideal" for serious OCers but is not recommended nor needed for the average user. If you are just using the rig for games and average computing functions you will rarely see any difference between 6 and 12gigs of ram. Best of luck with your build!!
