Hey guys,

Any favorite $50ish matx cases you like?  A small mid tower would be OK.  I was looking at the cooler master elite 342 or 341.  Any better?

What is the best $100ish gpu out right now?  I don't think dx11 is a concern...just best bang for my buck.  Was thinking this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102824&cm_re=ati_4850-_-14-102-824-_-Product

there are lots of great cases in that price range, but you would have to list what you want out of the case. water cooling capabilities, how many HDD's, 3.5 drive bays, power supply top, bottom, fans? windows?, filters? noise levels? plastic? steel? aluminum? colors? lights? list goes on and on. lol
but a decent case for $40.. shipped

GPU, you can usually get a 5750 1Gb card for $110-$130, same as 5779 just underclocked abit, so that is an easy fix.

Thanks Justin.

My needs are simple.  Prolly just 1 hard drive and 1 optical.  I'd like the smallest matx I can find that can handle full size GPU (prolly have to mod or remove hdd cage). Only other card besides i will install is a wireless adapter.  The case you showed me looks very sharp though I may try looking for something smaller.  I'd like to make a sleeper /plain PC.

And I'll defintely get the 5750 then.

I hadn't been thinking of that style case (horizontal mobo) but now that you showed it to me that seems kinda cool.  I might be going with that one.  I'm trying to keep it real cheap because I might be painting this case and practicing mod type stuff like that with this.  Throwing together some spare stuff to make this.
