Hey everyone I know we all been patiently waiting for our builds but, there’s a light at the end of the road. My build has the 5900x and a 3080. I was put in stage one on 12/7 and was put in stages 2 & 3 today !!!! THINGS ARE ROLLING IN

Congrats! Stages go way quicker from here. Hit stage 2 on Jan 26th and hit Stage 7 last night.

Got put in stage 4 on the 9th. Does that mean I certainly have a GPU assigned for me ?

I would bet you do have a gpu if they are doing final assembly. Should be moving quickly for you now!

Darn! I ordered a 5900X/6800 XT combo and was on Stage 1 on 11/23 but have been on Stage 2 since 1/25.
Intel i7-12700K

AFIK, stage 2 means they have your CPU. Prolly waiting for the dang GPU now. When that gets to you, it'll go quickly. You could check in with

The entire world is starved for chips of every kind right now. First, the supply chain was broken down by space needed for emergency protective gear supplies and the grounding of thousands of airplanes worldwide at the same time. Then, as the pandemic started to spread in Asia, whole factories would shut down for two weeks (or more) of quarantine at a time. At the same time, demand went through the roof with sheltering in place and working from home. Everybody wanted/needed an upgrade. The perfect storm for what we have now seen for 3 months has a lot of pieces.
