So....I ordered my new system with 64bit Vista and am now beginning to realize that not all anti-virus, spyware and security suites are compatible.

So far the only one that I know of for sure is Kapersky which gets great editorial reviews but only luke warm user reviews. (some seem to absolutely hate it)

Does anyone have some thoughts they can share with me on Kapersky or any others that they know of. (except Norton or Mcaffee..bleh)

Thanks

I use Avast, it seems to be going good for me. It works, updates, and so far seems to not be destroying the comp LOL

I'm using the 64 bit version of nod32.  I don't even notice it, and reviews call it lightweight (as far as using system resources go).

i dont run anything all the time, but i have adaware, ccleaner(amazing), avg, spybot, and hijackthis to scan with around once per week.
as much as i believe that my DSO monster would run a background process with no hiccup, i prefer not to use one.
