Now that the 670 is out, does that mean the 570 is no longer being made? And if I wanted to upgrade to the new one, could I just swap out the old pair of 570's and replace them with the new boards, without fiddling with something on the mobo or in the BIOS?

You should be OK. If you have the 570s, you should be able to swap it for the 670s and even the 680s with no problem. As both of these GPUs require less power from your PSU than from the 570s.

I have noticed that EVGA has the GTX 670 4GB cards for sale on thier website.  Any news on when DS will be offering them?
