Why is 5870 better than 6850 when newer series are supposedly better?

Raw performance, just because a graphic card is newer, does not mean it's faster. For example, the old school GeForce GTX 8800ULTRA video cards by NVIDIA are still faster than an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 video card.

I still have An EVGA 8800 Ultra KO on my sons PC (My old Alienware lol).

 
Have yet to find a game it cant handle, To include Metro 2033.

I'm sorry even if 8800 ultra is as powerful as 560, it can't do what a 560 can tho.

Will you guys stop posting stuff from toms, how many times do we have to say that place is a joke.
