Question, I got a new digital storm comp couple weeks ago and I wanted to update my bios. I know my comp is overclocked to 3.6 gigs. I don't know what manufacturer D.Storm uses for the 790i ultra? It came with EVGA Precision so that was my guess but when I tried to update the bios with nvidia's bios update utility it didn't reconize the bios. Can someone throw me in the right direction. Also will updated my bios remove my overclock setting? or will it just update to newest info and keep it as is? Please help.

Says my Bios version is: 2.053.E8

My bios is dated 9/10/2008 lol

-Help
- I love it!~

CPU-z will tell you what you got.

I wouldn't touch my bios unless I was having problems.

I would agree with the above, especially if you are running the XFX 790i.  There have been a lot of reports of people trying to mess with their BIOS with that particular brand (when using nvidia control panel to update the BIOS- DON'T DO IT) and having the mobo complently break- ie no POST...
