Running intel e8600 not overclocked
8 gigs ddr3 2x gtx280's and an 800w psu. the video cards dont seem to be putting out full potential could it be because of psu? |

I think a 800w should run the dual sli 280s fine, what is making you think they are not running at full potential?

On the game arma 2...
My fps is horrible... When i got them both on, and everything is maxed at 2560x1500 resolution its laggy as SHIIIIIIT But when i have only one, which ive tested them both they both work just fine, ive switched the power connectors, and nothing seems to do it, but when i run only one i have not a spec of lag. |

quick google search reveals that ARMA2 has/had SLI issues. they released an SLI patch, not sure if you downloaded that, but some people still can't get it to work. try googling and reading some other forums, such as http://forums.slizone.com/index.php?showtopic=37571
it seems to be a software issue and not something with your hardware ;) Edited by sdelu - 27 Jun 2009 at 5:06pm |

also at 2560 x 1600 resolution you need 3 gpus, 2 can only do so much
