just like the title says. which one is better? besides the speed diff. now the 80gig only has 8mb cauch but all the others have 16mb. is that going to matter? if not what is the diff between 8mb or 16mb on a hard drive?

You do realize you are comparing a $150 HDD vs a $40 HDD. The raptor will obviously be the better choice for housing just the operating system.
Unless you do HDD intensive work, there's no noticeable difference. |
