playing games like starcraft 2. does having a monitor with a faster millisecond really make that much of a difference can anyone actually tell the difference. I'm looking for a 2823 inch lcd or l e d not sure which way to go.

The response times are useless for a gaming monitor. They're set by the manufacturer to sell a product and don't even relate to real world usage.
Example....The Dell U2312HM recommended by many here shows a response time of 8ms. By definition that would mean terrible gaming as opposed to a 4-5ms RT. Nope....I and many others have it and there is zero lag in gaming.

Well it was importent in the begining you wanted the lowest one you can find.
Now every manufacturer uses a different methods to come up with a number. The manufacturer figured out people were looking for that number before buying a monitor so they come up with a low number anywitch way they could.Technically they were telling the truth but in real live it wasn't the same anymore. It is very hard to figure out witch are truly fast and witch are not. Find the make and model you like then do more research on it.See what people that bought it say about it. |
