I am having a hard time trying to clean the mesh at the top of the tower. Can someone tell me how to remove the top so I can get to the mesh screen underneath the top?

Remove the left side panel. Under the top, in the middle on the left edge of the top panel is a latch you push and slide the top left a bit to release the hooks.
