For starters I just want to thank the community for helping me pick out and customize the computer that fits in my budget and fits my expectations exactly (Now I just have to find the right time to buy it most likely next month thru march)

But Now I have another question for the community. My friend would like to buy a computer that plays minecraft as best as possible. Normally I could give him a config that is great and would work fine. But there is a problem. He has a Budget of $800 and an absolute Tops of $1000. Please put a config code for a computer that can pull off this mission impossible feat. If you cant get full performance for minecraft at this budget please just make it as great as possible for his prices. However for him budget comes first. Note that he will be using this computer to play minecraft , Tf2, and browse and thats it. So he wont have to use all that much memory.

For that budget, the only choices are Vanquish level 1 or 2.   The Vanquish 2 does have a better graphic card so that would be worth the extra money.   If he could go a bit higher, the Vanquish level 3 is much stronger gaming. It has a 4 core vs 2 core cpu and a much better graphics card.

Hope this helps.

It's hard to say because even though he only plays Minecraft he may want to play more in the future. If he solely only plays Minecraft than he could go for the Vanquish lvl 1. The recommended requirements for that game are far less than the lvl 1 setup.

This information has been compiled by the Minecraft community on the Minecraft wiki. Please visit the Hardware Performance wiki page for the most up to date information.

A computer with the minimum requirements should be able to play Minecraft. However, for the best experience, please consider the recommended requirements.

Minimum Requirements:
CPU : Intel P4 or its AMD Equivalent (AMD K7)
RAM : 2GB
GPU : Intel GMA 950 or AMD Equivalent with OpenGL 2.1 Support
HDD : At least 100MB for Game Core and Sound Files

Recommended Requirements:
CPU : Intel Pentium D or AMD Athlon 64 (K8) 2.6 GHz
RAM : 4GB
GPU : GeForce 6xxx or ATI Radeon 9xxx and up with OpenGL 2.1 Support (Excluding Integrated Chipsets)
HDD : 150MB

Software Requirements:
Minecraft Release 1.6 or newer. Older versions will need to be updated to current versions
Java (Java SE 6 Update 51 or Java SE 7 Update 40 or newer is preferred)
Please note that some users experience issues playing Minecraft while using a mismatched version of Java for their operating system (32 or 64 bit), while using certain versions of Java 7, or while multiple versions of Java are installed
If you have a laptop with an a built-in (integrated) graphics card, rather than a dedicated card, it is highly suggested that you try the demo before purchase.
