well one of my good friends building a computer and he wants to know what else he needs to make it so far hes got the:
-Intel Core i7 940 2.93ghz 8mb processor
-
CORSAIR DOMINATOR 3GB Memory
-Evga
ATX, Intel Lga 1366, 3 x PCI-E X16, mother board
-SIIG soundwave 5.1 pci adapter 5.1 surround sound pci sound card
-2x gtx 295 video card
-V8 CPU Cooler
-
Cooler Master RC-932-KKN1-GP HAF 932 Chassis
and thats pretty much it so if you know what else he should get before he finishes it up please reply and this is his first time building one  Ouch

he is gonna need to power them with a psu.

cables, thermal paste, he might want to upgrade his side fan to 4 x high cfm 120mm fans, but he can wait and see how the stock fan does.

he might want to go with 6GB for ram ( 3 x 2GB) and he could have saved himself some money and gone with a 920, they oc very well.

maybe a hard drive of some sort? lol, DVD would be most useful to... lol if you have to ask, prolly should not be building one. Sounds like your friend needs to do a lot more research.

Id go with the some artic cooling MX-2 thermal compound and a corsair Hx 1000w psu.. You should also get like 6 gigs of 1333 or 1600mhz ram and get a lite-on optical drive and possibly a media card reader. Id also recommend going with a 920 i7 with the new D0 stepping and you might want to pick up a western digital 300gb veloci. Ditch the SIIG sound card and grab a asus xonar 2, cheap sound card are no better then onboard.
