Hello all, I'm in need of some assistance. I am a Marine, currently in the Middle East, and as such I am kind of out of the loop with computer components. I'm looking to order a new system within the next week or so, so that it MIGHT possibly arrive around the same time I get back stateside. I was wondering if I could get opinions and suggestions on the following configuration. I mainly play WoW, but I would like to have the capability to play most any games that come around in decent settings. Since i play WoW mainly, the 295GTX isn't something I really want, since I would have to disable SLI and run it as a beefy 260.
I have a 26" 1080p LCD Tv that I plan on using as a stand-in until I purchase a monitor(I'd prefer to see the monitor in person). I think I'll be shopping for a 22" screen. Liquid cooling isn't a necessity, but I've always wanted it, and figured it would help with the overclock on the processor. If I did go this route with the LC, how difficult would upgrading the processor be in the future? The water block should disconnect, without having to drain the system and such, correct? Thank you in advance for any and all help. I went with 3gb over 6gb to cut costs, with the intent to upgrade in the future. Are the advantages of 6gb that obvious that it would best to suck it up and go with 6gb from the start?

No you have done the right thing, save up money for a couple of month then upgrade the ram
Ok then I was just making sure you were going to upgrade later. Your system looks great, I wouldn't change a thing. |
