So after ordering my DS computer a month ago I finally got it 3 days ago. It took a little longer then I expected, but I guess that is normal for custom builds.?.? To my disappointment when it finallly arrived I noticed something was wrong right away, I received the wrong monitor. I called DS right away and explained what happened. We talked about the problem and I informed the rep. that this was a big deal to me because I just gave the my other computer and monitor away a few days ago. ( I am actually typing this at work if anyone is wondering lol) We talked about different options and at the end came to a conclusion that was somewhat satisfactory, even though I still don't see how you can send the wrong monitor after have a month to get it right.
I was told that they would overnight the monitor back to DS and once recieved overnight the new one to me. To my suprise I pull up the tracking to see if it was in Cali yet ( i live in PA) and guess what! It is only in Ohio because I was lied to and they are ground shipping it back to themselves!!!! That mean my monitor will probably take 2 weeks to get here and my new computer willl sit here for another 2 weeks unused bring the total of the wait to 1.5months. That is if they don't screw it up again.
Sorry to rant I am sure once I get the monitor I will love the system but this is a little crazy. All those people that do these "checklist" didn't notice the difference between Acer and Samsung?!?!

Digital Storm ought to overnight ship the correct monitor to you immediately, as in Monday! We'll just have to wait and see....

Well lets see what DS has to say, maybe the last departure scan was in Ohio, but the truck is driving thru the weekend.
Also I'm not sure its a good idea to put things like PC or monitors, or TVs or etc, on a fedex/ups plain and overnight, cause then they go on conveyor belts and have the highest chance of getting messed up. but I feel your frustration, I'm sure DS will make it right, let see what they have ot say. |

I am sorry about the situation. I got a chance to review your order after speaking to our team, and basically this was the agreement:
1. We would issue a pickup for your monitor. Once it's been picked up, the next day, we would ship you an Overnight replacement of the correct monitor.
2. We also gave you a $40 credit back to your card for the inconvenience as well [discount on that purchase].
The replacement monitor should be shipping today via Overnight as today is the business day after the pickup was made.
Once again, sorry about this, and we are doing our best to correct it as soon as possible for you.

I appricate the reply Alex. I was told you guys would have to recieve the monitor back before you would ship the correct one to me. When I found out it was being ground shipped back that is when I got upset. Maybe I misunderstood or it wasn't explained properly who knows. I just want to be able to you this computer so hopefully you are right and it does ship today.

You are right what would I know, I only have been in the delivery business for over a decade
correct me if I'm wrong but you are saying exactly what I'm saying up there?
