Sometime back in the early 2000’s, when LAN culture was thick, I was attending either a G-Force Lan or Showdown Lan in the NorCal area. While checking out the both row, I first spoke with the crew from DigitalStorm. They had some wicked builds, fun guys all around. But I already had a pretty sweet rig and we discussed the finer points of pitching pre-built machines to folks that can upgrade their machines while waiting in line to get in to the event. By the end of the conversation I laughingly told them that if I were ever in the market for a pre-built system (would never happen) I would get it through them.

Well....that day did arrive, and I am honoring the promise I made well over 10 years ago. I ordered a system from y’all today, while those big LAN party days might not be around anymore, I’m glad you are.

Welcome to DS... you'll find that most of the forum regulars here are well into "OG" territory. While there are some fine, knowledgeable youngsters who like to hang about, some of us are well passed 50 and value the service that DS provides as home building just doesn't have the same appeal.

So, time to stick our noses in... whatcha get?!

Thank you, well single graphics card and such, nothing really maxed out. Back in the old days, SLI and maxing things out was my norm. But this might be the cleanest build I’ll ever have lol.

That is some strong hardware and cooling. I would suggest that you call them and if within your budget, request that the Storage Set 1 be changed to The 512GB Samsung 970 PRO which is Nvme not SATA and 5x faster. The M.2 is just the form factor, meaning they are both the same small size. the interface is very different.

Thanks! Yeah hopefully that can be done. Doesn’t sounds like the price to performance, would be crazy not to.
