I am making this post to write somewhat of a review, although probably not a great one because:

(1) It is only for a laptop, so there isn't all the things to review like there is on a desktop
(2) I'm not exactly technically savvy, so there are tons of things I don't even know to touch on in a review.

I can't remember how long exactly it took from the day I ordered my system to the day that I received it. But I know it wasn't too long at all. I'm thinking maybe a month at most. So I was very happy with how fast I received my system. I realize other vendors may have gotten it to me faster, but I'm glad DSO takes a little more time testing the system before they ship it out.

As for customer service -- when my order was in stage 2, I changed my mind on my hard drive (I decided I wanted the hybrid drive). I emailed Sarah, and she had it taken care of that same day. So I was extremely pleased with that.

I received the system almost a month ago, and I wish I could say that I've really been putting it to the test with some GPU intensive games. But for the most part I've been stuck on playing Battlefield2. For some reason, I have totally fallen in love with that game all over again. I did, however, play the new Medal of Honor on my new system, and it played it perfectly with no problems. The monitor on this thing displays everything beautifully. I love the crisp picture.

There have been a few quirky things happen, but they have been so rare, that I can't pinpoint what would have caused them --  1 time I came back to my computer after not being near it all day and it was frozen up. Another time the graphics got some real weird green & blue marks all over the screen. But that only happened once. A reboot seemed to fix it. What I do realize is, ANY computer is going to have the occasional quirkiness. I sort of expected that anyway. Overall, I have REALLY been pleased with how stable this system has been.

A few random pros
--------------------
I have the system hooked up (hdmi-to-dvi) to a HANS.G monitor and it really works well.
I was very pleased to see that my system came with 1 USB 3 port. I wasn't aware of that until I opened it up.
The construction of this thing seems really really sturdy.
The carrying bag that comes free with the system is pretty nice, I think.
The packaging (for shipping) & binder that comes with my system information & recover CD are a very nice & professional touch.

A couple random cons
--------------------
My system arrived with ONE stuck pixel. (it such a small thing, it has never really bothered me)
The battery life on this thing is literally only about 15 minutes -- with just the screensaver running (not gaming or anything), so it's not really "portable"

Aside from the battery life (which I never really bought it for "portability" anyway), I have to say i am EXTREMELY satisfied with my system.

Thanks DSO!

Edit: Fixed a typo
