I do feel sorry for the people laid off.  I've never tried a flight sim before.  So many games, so little time.

Personally i'd rather them lay 10,000 people off than go bankrupt and put 100,000+ out of jobs. It sounds bad i know, but think about it.

The reason they are doing this is because their profits were down the last two quarters several billion dollare...MS is still making billions every quarter....

Its the bean counters and corporate America at its best...........

Some say its Vista and Zoon...But I won't speculate on that at all...

Oh... I feel *so* sorry for them.  Right behind the Oil companies.

Well, that all the more reflects my disdain for Microsoft.  They're making billions.. but not as many billions as before.  And they still feel the need to fire people just because they're not lining the pockets of the executives as much?

Yeah, it sucks for those being let go.  But my ire isn't on them.
