Been thinkin' bout' adding a second 8800GTX-768 to my system for an added boost. My question is, will I actually see much of a performance gain (i.e., FPS)? I have the Q6600 mobo. (It's a DSO system.)

My understanding is that you will see some gains (performance will absolutely not double), and that those gains will be more pronounced if you are running high- or extreme-resolutions, like 1900x1200 or higher.
Tom's hardware has lots and lots of benchmarks. Chris |

It'll definitely help with AA/AF and if you want to get a larger monitor.
