I'm posting here because this isn't an issue with my PC per say...
I recently brought an accessory which will allow my PC to use any xbox 360 wireless product, by plugging it into a USB port.  The product itself works, but is causing many of my other USB devices to fail (for example, my USB
headphones/microphones become scratchy, ONLY when the device is pluged in.)  The only way to fix any problems is to unplug the device and restart my PC.

I'm stumped on this one, as the device itself doesn't have anything to configure (yes, its updated).  While the USB hub itself may be short on power, I have a 750 Watt PSU, so I doubt power is an issue...Unless the hub itself isn't getting enough juice...

You guys think power is the issue, or just M$ being M$?

Checked that, and everything looks ok.

With everything plugged in, I pull 490 mAmps (500 is the limit),  If I remove my mouse (100 mAmps), I still have the issue, so it doesn't look like a power/current problem at least...

God, I hope I dont have this problem. I bought a 360 on eBay, and it will be here tomorrow, and it comes with the Wireless Controller. Best of luck, and please post the fix if you find it!

If I used a headset with "regular" in/out sound jacks, would that work, or does that use the same power as the USB hub?
