Oh before I forget, I'm also looking for suggestions on a good gaming LCD. I've done quite a bit of research, but i still can't find something difinitive. I'm currently looking at this from newegg at 259.99 bones:
But if someone has a better lcd for about the same price (i wouldn't mind going up a few bucks) please share you thoughts. ;)
thanks again!

Change this
System Memory: 6GB DDR3 1600MHz Corsair Dominator DHX (High-Performance) to this System Memory: 6GB DDR3 1333MHz Mushkin (Highly Recommended) (Digital Storm Certified) Mushkin is better... and you dont need the 1600 MHz, you wont see the difference between the 1600 and the 1333 Also, i notice you did not choose an OS... just make sure your OS is a 64bit |

Thanks for the suggestion Perlife. Also, yeah I have a copy of 64bit ultimate so ill be installing the OS and tweaking it myself. I do have another questions:
1. Does swapping out the stock fans for the high performance actually help with cooling? or do I get less cooling since they're smaller fans?
2. And as I picked green for the LED fans, does that replace the front and side panel fans? Will it look funny going from the big fans to smaller fans?
3. Will DS update all hardware firmware/bios and make sure it works with an OS on there, even though I'm providing my own OS? In other words, will they install an OS to make sure the over clocking, firmware updates and all that plays nice together?
4. Can anyone give me a range of the overclocking I should expect with this setup?
5. Im sure ill think of some more (any help on monitor choices would be awesome too).

hehe but i couldnt wait, I went ahead and ordered it. the only thing i changed was the system lights to be all blue instead of green (I understand that the front LED FAN will still be red).
james, the sales guy I spoke with was very informative and helpful.
Now all I need help with is picking an LCD monitor to go with this badboy. any suggestions?

well I hope you went with the 1333MHz and dropped the chassis airflow, all they gonna go is change your big fans with smaller LEDs and they don't change the front red led fan.
since you have no OS they can't install the drivers and etc to test it. I hope your OS is vista 64bit |
