Hey so im new to this forum. Hopefully this is in the right spot..
I just ordered the vanquish level 3 should come in a few weeks now.im thinking of getting a ssd and use that to boot windows. Ill do it as soon as it arrives. But just got a few questions.. How do i go about doing this? is there a guide that tells me how? Do i need to go into any setting to change anything?.. Im not very good with computers. I can figure stuff out but i rather not mess with a perfectly good computer. Dont wanna mess anything up.. Anyways any help would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks.. |

You'll have to install your OS onto the SSD and set it to be the primary boot drive. I'm sure you could contact DS for more detailed help on doing this. As far as mounting the drive, you should be able to see how the one included is already mounted and just do the same with your new drive...

If you get an Intel SSD, they come with their own cloning program and is very easy to setup, as it prompts during boot.
I do believe Samsung has their own as well, but I don't have one, so don't quote me on that.

Yeah samsung has a disc called magician. I have used it to clone OS onto SSD and it worked smoothly. Apricorn makes a very good one as well. works with all SSD's, only thing is IF its windows 8 then the program is not up on their site yet. u have to contact them and get it emailed to you
