I'm not too knowledgeable with building my own stuff, but I was wondering if I can add wifi capabilities to my DS Lynx. It's a level 1, but I upgraded the ram and added an EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 KO Ultra. Can I add wifi to the rig?

Look at newegg for a USB Wifi dongle. They are cheap and work fine.

Do they work well enough for gaming?

Depends on what is your definition of well enough for gaming. Wi-fi, even internal, is not as good as ethernet.

You can also add a pcie wi-fi card. I believe you have a slot available if not covered by the gpu. probably better than a dongle but I really have no idea. Don't use or have wi-fi.
