Budget:
Less than $3000 would be perfect, but no more than $4000 Expectations: Last for a very long time (4 years, atleast), remain chilled and as silent as possible. Handle multiple monitors well and Adobe Softwares, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and InDesign. Usage: Web/Graphic design, and sometimes video editing. I won't be doing much 3D rendering, if anything I might use C4D occasionally for text in motion graphics. Special Needs: I bought a XM15 Level 4 notebook a few months ago from here, and I love it. I am heading to college very soon, and I am thinking about using the notebook for only college purposes or whenever I need to travel. I need this desktop to last, incase I wear my notebook out from commuting. I will also be doing all my web/graphic design work on the workstation rather than on the laptop. I multitask a lot and always have too many apps and tabs open on my taskbar and browser. This workstation should be able to handle this, and last me through college. That config is the old platform, the new platform will give you better performance, you should wait for the highend platform that will be out in oct/nov, that has the 6 core cpu that is what you need/want for your work.
your ssd is the old gen also, you need more IMHO. |
