Budget:
$2800 at the most

Expectations:
I haven't had a desktop PC since 56k modems and have basically been a console gamer. I've really been getting interested in getting into building my own just don't have the time and I'm not too knowledgeable yet other then what I've read on forums and a little past knowledge. I would like to be able to run graphic intensive games on ultra for at least a couple years. That's what I'm hoping anyways. Any advice on my build would be greatly appreciated. It's just over $2600 with a couple of tweaks I made.

Usage:
Gaming

Special Needs:
Top of the line graphics card and stability

Saved Ticket #: 925226

Specifications:
i7 4770K, ASUS Gryphon Z87, 16GB ddr3, 1050W corsair PSU, 120GB SSD, 1 TB HDD, 240mm corsair liquid cooling and the bluray optical drive.

Looks good however I would upgrade to the sabertooth motherboard, and chasis fans. You could use a smaller psu of around 750W unless you plan on going sli with another gpu in the future. Everything else looks solid.

Welcome to DS!!

925254 $2626

Made a few changes. Downgraded PSU to Corsair 850RM, moved to the Virtue case (cleaner look & less $$), switched SSD to Samsung (faster) & HDD to WD (longer warranty) - both more reliable.

Also added FREE t-shirt!!

Hope this helps!!!

Awesome thanks for the tips, had a feeling I might've been overdoing it a little, after dropping that chunk of change, it's not like I'd be doubling up my GPU anytime soon. I'll definitely go with the reliability as well. And I keep forgetting about those t-shirts. Also one more question, I'm going to be plugging right into a 42" 3d tv, is there anything I need to do to get the best picture quality? Thanks again

The 780ti has a HDMI port to connect directly to your big screen TV...

Cool, I guess the display issues I heard about were with people running multiple monitors with higher than 1080p Rez. though I feel I'm making it too easy on myself, so much to the point that I won't learn anything when I go to upgrade or build one from scratch. Oh well I'm pretty psyched to get this thing. Took your advice with the psu and the storage. Also went with the sabertooth but I kept the marauder, I just like the tool-less access.
