What will the system be used for and what resolution will you be using?

Well you need to match your gpu power to the monitor's native res, so first I guess we need to know what the budget is for the monitor.

and yes we need to make changes to your config.

When looking for a monitor, number one thing is picture quality, ips panels have the best, checkout this one:

Dell UltraSharp U2311H 23

its a great deal for an ips.

if thats is gonna be the monitor then the res is around 1900 x 1200.

so the next question becomes, do you want to leave room for sli (more expensive) or not, both ways should be under budget, however there is no point on spending money on things one never uses, so think about this carefully, what we are talking about here is giving one gpu but have a system that can support 2, so that in the future you see you want more gpu power, you can drop in a second.

NP I forgot to mention, either ask/pay DS to add this fan to the top or do it yourself:

haf 200mm non led fan

this way you will endup with 4 x 200mm fans for great airflow.

You do know about the SB issue/fix?

Thanks man

If you are referring to my config then yes its optomized to use your money for most power.

other stuff like monitor and keyboard and etc, can probably be purchased at newegg or amazon to save some money, check the prices in those places against here, if they are cheaper then get them there, if not then get them here.

NO OS boost makes no difference in apps/games speeds.

the build itself normally takes like 3 to 5 days to go from scratch to shipping.

The front fans on the HAF 942 and HAF 932 are indeed red LED fans.
