Hi! Welcome to the Forums!
I like your computer - one of the first recomendations I would give you is to put your OS and programs you use all the time on that SSD and put your data like other games and such on the normal HD. I would take another moment and think about what you really want to do - game, watch HD video? I say this because for example, if you wanted a video game powerhouse in my previous experience you should select the video card first and build around that. Also the ODE3 is a great financial build starting point from what I have seen. Let me know what you wanna do! I'm excited to see what you come up with! Oh, don't forget the T-Shirt. They look great. |

Hi Calljack...... Welcome to the forums. I can't cut and paste on my tablet so look at config # 671495 cost a little over $ 2000. The HafX case is the best air cooled case. The A70 cooler is no longer available. I changed to the D 14 cooler also the best and added overclocking stage 2. The config builder is messing up so just change the power supply to the 750hx. The 750hx is tops in reliability and comes with 7 year warranty. You didn't mention monitor or resolution so this assumes a 23" monitor or less and 1920x1080 resolution. See what you think and see ya tomorrow. Others might help.

The hailstorm 800D case is a real nice case, but not as good with fewer fans. psu is the 750HX, very reliable and 7 year warranty and 90% effeicency. Like xii pointed out, put the SSD as drive 1 for os, etc. Like darbedo caught me on...put in gtx570 1.2GB. Nothing wrong with your pick of the 2.5GB version. Some have seen better fps with it even at 1920x1050, so depends on budget. D14 cooler works great with the i5-2500k and stage 2 overclocking. I left in the 2500k, instead of the usual i7-2600k to save money and for strickly gaming is a real good chip. Good Luck.
