I'm currently using a dell u2711 which is a 2560x1400 and does vertical cooling makes a big difference compared to vertical? and does it even matter if I'm WC most of my components? Would you recommend the Obsidian 800D??

For LC on cpu/gpu 800d is the way to go, assassin is not as big and falls short on room.

Does vertical cooing make a big difference? some like to claim, but if you got 2 x 200mm fans on top sucking air/heat up and out of the case, you will see no difference, heat rises everywhere, and whether you have 3 x 180 fans blowing air from the bottom, or 2 x 200mm fans sucking it up wards, you are not gonna see a big difference if any.

For your res you may want tri sli, for that your best bet is to wait for the highend platform of SB to come out Q4 of this year.

let me know what you think

if not and you just want dual sli:

ATI build, has more vram, will do better with high aa settings than the 580:

Here you go Ticket# 544510 --- $4356 (To see this build click here)

if you still want 580s:

Here you go Ticket# 544511 --- $4554 (To see this build click here)

Then we can make custom adjustments to the rads and fans and make the rads bigger and better ones with quiet fans on them for best performance.

SB = Sandybridge = name of the new intel cpu (2600k, 2500k, etc)

tri sli is better then quad sli.

the p67 platform (mid range SB) does not do tri sli.

Thats a long way away, and who knows if they will offer the discount on brand new tech on the market.

but if its tri sli you want, to get the best for your money, you gonna want the x79 platform.
