Trying to stay $1500 to1800 max
 
Main use is playing Aces High (WWII air combat) on a 22" flat screen but getting a 50" plasma or led to use at 1920*1080 with all game eye candy turned on.
 
Not sure about MB, p67 or  z68
 
Want a nvidia card with lifetime warranty
 
Your thoughts?

Does ace high utilize sli correctly?

tv's don't make a good monitor.

let me know about sli then I can see if your build is good or not.

Not interested in sli, though people use it in the game - it violates the KISS principle.
 
It looks like I can save $150 by going with the gtx 560 ti without much affect on FR

KISS does not apply when you need the power.

if you don't want sli then why are you not going with ode 1?

 I wanted the "Black" hard drive and was thinking PS was borderline other than those 2 things Ode 1 looks good

psu is not my favorite at all, but you can change that if you like, for every change it cost $50 plus the difference of cost of the part, I think if you change psu the price is still way below your config.

the hdd you can add later, right now the prices on them have gone up due to crisis in overseas.

Ya each change is $50 plus the cost of the part, so say if you change 2 things thats 2 x 50 = $100 for cost of change itself then you add to that the cost of the 2 parts.
