rub some socks across a very staticy carpet, then proceed to wipe every inch of the motherboard

pressurized air cans always work well

Use compressed air or just blow. Don't use a vacuum

careful about blowing it contains moisture and that is conductive... so if you get some spit on your comp and you then turn it on zap! gone! if you wait 3 days or so after you "blow" your computer then your fine.

vacuums create static which is why it is a no no, a lot of your hardware reacts to static as we do to arsenic.

the only way to go is dry non-conductive compressed air you can get this at your electronics store... but ti costs a pretty penny for what it really is. the canister is what makes it expensive if only people recycled  Geek

a lot of the vids are bad... people using wet towels to clean motherboards and such.

use compressed air hold the fan spray short bursts in the direction of the air comming out of the case also hold the fan in place. rotate fan and keep going. do that to all fans.

i hear that distilled water is not conductive since there are no minerals and such but it is not a game i am willing to play

if you must use a paper towel use bounty it has the least amount lint. it may take longer to clean when not wet but at least your safe

also always make sure your grounded incase your staticy or ur room is
