Hello, I have a lynx level 1 system and wanted to buy a gpu to run some games I play such as ark survial evolved smoother. I was watching a Linus Tech Tips video and was looking at the ASUS GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER Overclocked 6GB Phoenix Fan Edition HDMI DP DVI Graphics Card (PH-GTX1660S-O6G) (whole name just to be specific). I was wondering if this was a good option since it isn't a super expensive or cheap gpu. Also, What cables do I need to order to connect it to the rest of the pc? I have never built a pc before so i'm not super savvy in that area (Building pcs)

That should be a pretty good choice for 1080p gaming for quite awhile. It's really a good choice if you're not trying to push the highest frame rates. Excellent choice for a 1080p at 60Hz like mine.

You must be very careful where you shop for this as card prices can be all over the lot depending on the vendor. New Egg seems to be pricing it correctly. Good hunting!

The small box that came with your system should contain all the cables you might need if they are not already installed and hidden in the back. Look for cable(s) with 6+2 plugs. It is a very easy installation. (make sure tab on pcie base is set on open to receive the gpu. It will lock when you push the gpu in.) Good luck and enjoy.

Many thanks to hoserator for helping out. I completely blew your cable question, and, of course, he's right!
