Ok well you got bunch of issues, for example you don't want quad sli and even if you did it would not fit on that mobo.
lets back up, you want a system that can run 3d gaming across three 3d monitors? |

Hi Dioxcyde,
I just wanted to welcome you to the forum and urge you not to place your order until you get some feed back. DST4ME will give you some sound advise that will influence your configuration. Frank |

Well quad sli gets out performed by tri sli, I would stick to that, if you are under lc then I guess you can fit all 4 cards.
Why the tec? you understand that the gpus will be under regular lc right? drop the upgrad fans they are loud and not needed., fan controller will not controll all your fans and its temps are not accurate, there are better freeware out there for temps and etc that we all use. the Syndicate case is cramped we have had tec owners change case to hailstorm due to crampy-ness of the case, I would also recommend you go with hailstorm, if you want led fans on the hailstorm let me know I will show you what kind to get. for your lc remember its not a necessity but a luxury, you don't have to have it for good temps, but if you still want lc, I would go with regular lc on both cpu and gpus, and Instead of wasting money on fans and fan controller, instead as them to use XSPC "RX" series rad with Scythe gentle typhoon fans on them, this will give you better performance with practically no noise, vs the regular lc system DS will give you. As far as I know non of the apps you use will utilize sli, so sli would be only for gaming and for that tri sli 580 will do best IMHO. last the ssd, 320 has better 4k speeds then 510, if you want something that is faster than 320 then go with m4, I would not go with 510. OH ya your uv tubes need uv lighting, you have chosen blue. I have not heard anything about bd issues with mobo, but I have not been looking for it either, to be honest as you see from my avatar, I'm more of an evga person. your thoughts. |

(not 100% sure what you mean by the the Gpus being under regular LC... does that setup mean it will be under regular LC and TEC? I have my pc on 24/7, no tec here, somebody gave you bad info on needing tec with 24/7 use, no such need, your 24/7 use has no baring on what cpu cooler you use. Using a good air cooler like noctua will give you the same life span on your pc as tec, and even if not, your cpu will out live your pc with 24/7 use and noctua. Problem will be tho if something goes wrong wtih tec, you have to be without your pc for over a month, cause you have to send the pc to DS and shipping back and forth alone takes 2 weeks at least. I'm not telling you not to get it for money, I'm telling you not to get it cause you don't need it and also the simpler you keep things the less headache you will have, as I was always told growing up "K.I.S.S" (keep it simple stupid), less things = less things that can go wrong. With regular lc at least if something goes wrong you can work on it yourself and swap parts, with tec you have to send it back.
Exactly, the tec is only for the cpu, your gpus are not under tec, they are under regular lc, as of right now tec is only for cpu. very good on the m4. Killer 2100 is pure waste of money, its difference if any at all is a needle in a haystack. Noise Suppression Package is pointless specially if you request the rad and fans I mentioned, all the sound package does is take away from your air flow, but if you are using quiet fans like I mentioned, there is no reason to kill airflow. Ask for vcore lower then 1.4 for your cpu oc. drop the oc on gpus, its very mild here and you are gaining maybe 1 or 2 fps on each card, oced cards tend to fail faster. with a good ssd windows boost yields zero gains, but if you need one of those services and don't know which it can turn into a headache. for the os go with win7 cd/dvd, if the drive with your backup partition goes bad, then so is your back partition. like to point out warranty is 6 years labor 4 years part, you pay shipping back and forth. Now I like to speak about your cpu, you can go with 3930k and should not notice much difference if any at all, but I too like E chips, so I can't say I blame you but as long as you know its more preference to go with 3960x vs 3930k then it is performance. keep in mind even with lc each gpu will still take about 2 pci slots, so with tri sli and sound card you have no more room for any other pci slots.(look at my config, it has a 4x classified and with 4 gpus on lc, I don't have any pci slots open at all and my board has 7 pci slots. don't forget to ask for rad and fans I mentioned. |

@DST4ME would you mind setting up the best possible build to order and then just list what I should ask them to add in? you obviously know a lot about building a high end system and you know at this point money is not an issue, I just want the best without wasting. I would really appreciate it if you wouldn't mind. and then maybe just linking the build here.

Ask them to use XSPC "RX" series rad for all your rads with Scythe gentle typhoon fans on them. Now here you will endup probably with a single rad on cpu and triple rad on gpus, now if you want bigger rad for cpu, you need to look at having a triple rad in outside back like mine. Tho keep in mind lc is luxury so you don't need it to begin with. Tell me what you think. Edited by DST4ME - 16 Jan 2012 at 12:30am |
