If I get the ATI Radeon HD 6950 2GB over clocked shouldn't it be better than the nvidia gtx 570? It would be less expensive that way

Cards with higher memory really only help with higher resolutions and higher AA settings. The GTX 570 will be able to handle the games that are out now without much problem. But I can't speak towards Battlefield 3 and the other games coming out this fall. I might be a stretch on your budget but you might want to look at the ODE computers, for $1999 you cant get the Stage 2 ODE which has 2 GTX 560s in SLI, which will blow a single GTX 570 away and give you better performance in the future. BUT if you can't spend that much I would suggest getting a lesser processor and then getting better graphics. Graphics cards go out of date much quicker then CPUs in the gaming world.

Wireless gaming is so sketchy.. when gaming you should always have a ethernet cord. You'll need a bigger PSU if you plan on upgrading your video card anytime soon. Should go with atleast 750. Upgrading the fans on the 942 case is a waste. The 942 comes with 1 230mm front fan, 1 200mm side fan, 1 200mm top fan. If you upgrade it to the zalman fans, they are louder and smaller (obviously). So they wont have the same CFM rating of the 200mm fan which is about 110.
