Hey guys, first off I been looking at this site for a computer for a few months now and am going to get a new comp when the fixed Intel SB's come out.  I have learned more about computer components just on these forums than I learned the previous 5 years combined.  My friend got a DSO comp a couple years ago and swears by you guys. and from what I've seen it is well deserved.

I am going to be using this computer for nothing else but gaming.  My budget is $2000 including shipping.

Right now my monitor resolution is 1680x1050, but I am going to get a bigger one  in the near future and probably go 1920x1080.

I play games like Starcraft 2, anything having to do with warhammer (warhammer online, dawn of war 2), Crisis, Mass Effect, The Witcher, etc. I am going to want to play all these games on max settings. (obviously lol)

I am most likely not ever going to go SLI, I am most likely going to just stick with the graphics card I have chosen (gtx 570) and then replace it in a few years.  I might add a solid state drive later on if/when the new cheaper ones rumored to come out, eventually do.

I am going to add more ram later to get to 8gigs.

What I really need advice on is the case.  The case I have chosen is the Haf 922, because I am almost 90% sure I will only have one hard drive (except maybe a solid state later on) and am going to only have 1 graphics card.  The only thing I'm worried about is sufficient air flow.  My few dozen original potential builds had the HAF 932. but I'm am not sure I will even need it.

My main questions are:
-What motherboard should I get considering I will not SLI or be messing with overclocking things? Right now I have the Sabertooth because I'm not sure what I really need.
-Will the HAF 922 case be more than enough cooling or should I consider the HAF 932 or HAF X?
- Should I get the graphics card overclock? I know DSO doesn't do much in wise of overclocking it with that, but I will in all honestly probably never do it myself unless I get more comfortable with messing with my computer.

Thanks in advance!
-Sev

Well the HAF 932 does provide better airflow but if the budget doesn't allow it then the 922 is more than adequate.......Your build looks pretty solid to me.....only a couple things though...

you chose the OC for the GPU......the OC that DS does is VERY minimal....you could do it yourself with MSI afterburner and get better OC for it....it's easy...

second....why didn't you get the free game???? Can't get any better than free....

third...you said that you will add more RAM later on....if this is purely a gaming PC then 4 gigs is all you need.....the most you will use if you are just gaming is MAYBE 3 gigs....leaving you 1 gig just sitting there.....if you get 8 gigs then well you do the math......8 gigs will allow you to do more in the background if that is your thing....if not...then 4 gigs is plenty....

Other than those things......your build looks good....the 570 will do great on a 1920x1080 monitor.....

forgot to mention....the mobo you chose is just fine for what you are wanting to do...and still gives you the option to SLI in the future if you choose.....

if you think you will ever want to do SLI then you will need the 1000 watt PSU....

Well the GPU OC is free, and like I said I have never done anything more advanced than restoring my computer and reformatting the hard drive, so I'm not too sure I would even OC the Graphics card myself.
I'm thinking about taking an old desktop I have just sitting here and taking it apart and try to put it back together for practice lol.

And of course I'm going to get the free game and t-shirt, those shirts look pretty nice for free lol.  I just didn't really think about that stuff for config advice.

Sounds good......if you don't plan on doing SLI then your build is good like it is.....

The OC on gpu here is so mild you will never notice a gain from it.

drop mobo to p8p67 and change case to haf x and ask ds to add this fan to the top:

haf 200mm non led fan

by doing so you will endup with 4 x 200mm fans in the case, for great airflow.
