So yea, I've got a $2599 ceiling to purchase a desktop for gaming. So far I've managed to max what I can get for my money to the best of my knowlege, but I'd love some input.

Ticket number: 286040.

Thanks,

Rabies.

ok first let me say that your config as a few problems also, for example, vista 32bit can't see all of your system's total memory.

some of the tweaks you have choosen were pointless, the killer pro card is a waste of money.

trying to stick a LC system in the 902 is not the best idea.

so anyways here you go, beast:

on this system you can upgrade to the new cpu coming out in 2010 that is going to be a 6 core, so say in 2 years you pay little money and upgrade this beast to a 6 core if you wanted, you can fit 5 HDDs, 3 x 275 gtx if needed.

its a beast and it can be upraded down the road to be even more of a beast than it already is.

if you are stock on LC then you pay a bit more:

here you go Ticket# 286045 --- Price: $2755 (To see this build click here) Price after current promotion $2630

Woah, thanks for going through all the trouble.

I must say the second one attracts me more, owing to the fact I seem to have some obscure affinity to the concept of LC.

I'm gonna' do some number crunching and see if I can make the moneyz.

Again, thanks bro.

My pleasure, any time, I will say the first config offers great cooling also, the Noctua NH-U12P offers the same performance pretty much as a H2O stage 1 coolit domino, so don't think you are missing out on much with the first build, but I have to admit LC is my favorite also.

good luck
