Advice re: speakers with my soundcard (Widdlecat?)

I could use some advice from any knowledgeable people re: choosing speakers for my new system on order from DS.  It will include the Razer Barracuda AC-1 sound card.  I was wondering, given the features of this particular sound card, which speaker set would be the best choice?
 
1.) Logitech Z5500 (currently $200 on Amazon)
2.) Logitech G51 (currently $110 on Amazon)
3.) Logitech x-540 (currently $84 on Amazon
 
The Z5500 are supposed to be the best of the 3..........so I guess my question is, is the extra $100 worth it, compared to the x540, when paired with this sound card?  Or will the x540 or G51 sound pretty much the same as the Z5500?  Or are there any other product recommendations over these choices? (I would prefer 5.1 sourround).  I will be using it primarily for gaming, however would also like good music performance (doesn't have to be extreme top-notch, as I am not an "audiophile").
 
I know Widdlecat is the resident sound expert hear, so I would love to hear her opinion, but input all others as well is encouraged and greatly appreciated! (But I must act quickly.....my system will be here in a week!!)
