I think for gaming at 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 that build is great, but wait for a few more replies or for DST4ME (our local config expert) to drop by, but IMHO it looks pretty sweet.

you don't need the 2.5Gb version of 570 at that res, the extra vram is for high aa at higher res, just fyi.

if you think in the life of this pc you will be adding more ram to it, then go with win7 pro, premium has a 16GB total limit, your config has 13GB already, pro does not have that limit, it has a 128GB limit, for $30 IMHO its worth it.

Don't forget that the haf x fits another 200mm fan on top, for some reason CM no longer offers the non led ones, so either grab a red led one and add it yourself or ask DS to put one on top for you, so that you endup with the best airflow case can do, here is the fan you want, you need to specifically ask for this fan to be added:

200mm red led fan

other then that, your build is solid.

SSD is a must if you want a well balanced system, a well balanced system has all high performing components to eliminate bottlenecks that can take away from your system's performance, so not only will it help with gaming, it will help with overall performance of your pc.

DST4ME,

I have been looking around at monitors and would like to know what my current builds max resolution would be and what I would have to change to play at max resolution on either the dell u2711 or the dell u3011?

Thanks in advance for your help and input
Matt

u30 has 2560 x 1600 res, for that res we recommend sli 570 2.5GB with option to go tri sli, the current p67/68 platform can't do that, for tri sli you need to wait for the new platform of x79 to get here.

but you can use

sli 570 2.5GB

sli 580 3GB

cf 6970 2GB

any of those configurations will give you similar performance but you need option to go tri cf/sli, for example for games like bf3 at that res you may need tri cf/sli.

Suppose to be oct/nov, but those are just rumors, I'm not aware of any official release date.
