Hey guys,

I'm loving my new DS system.  It had a few problems at first but it is running flawlessly now and it's amazing Awesome However, I need microsoft office for it.  It is pretty expensive in store, so I was wondering if any of you have found reliable sources that offer it at a discounted price?  I only need 1 cd key so that should help save money.  I found some like discount software site that had it for 90 and another that had it for 40.  40 bucks is an amazing deal, but I don't know if I trust the website.  I'd also buy someones spare cd key if they have one heh.  Thanks for the help guys!

I second openoffice.org

Give it a try.  If you don't like it or find it doesn't have what you need/doesn't work out for you, at least you're not out anything.

I had open office a couple of months, but I gave it up because the version I had froze when copying and pasting text from other programs ie. from notepad or firefox. And since I was writing a research paper at the time, I didn't have the time figure out a solution, so I installed MS office.

Back on topic the fabulous discounts your seeing is a result of Microsoft's pricing strategy in the far east. In china Microsoft Office for students costs ~300RMB or about 45 USD.

These companies grey import Chinese or Russian serial keys and sell them in the west. Generally if trust these retailers, there's no reason to think these kinds of deals are too good to be true.

Edit-NEVER buy a key from random people online. More than likley, they'll flog their keys multiple times so that they aren't valid anymore.

Office Web Apps. A free service provided by Microsoft (as a response to Google Docs, eh?)
