I have 4g of DDR2 memory. Is it normal for a game to use up to 98%? When I logon it starts and 55 and slowly gets to about 98 then back to 70-80%. Do I need buy more Ram for this game? Or is there something else I can do?

The system isn't giving me trouble just surprised that Conan uses so much memory. I go to the Task Manager and it just keeps getting bigger and bigger as I keep playinig.
I am using Vista Home Edition 64bit 4GB memory *Corsair* |

forget about watching the mem usage in task manager in vista, superprefect is loading resources in the memory ahead of time, it guesses what you are going to be loading next so its ready, thus your mem usage is not what you are actually using, its what vista thinks you gonna use.
we can disable superprefect if you like, I did on mine, if you do so you will see the ram usage drop, but there is no need to disable it, its a matter of preference

no there are none
not really, its suppose to help by loading resources ahead of time but if you can tell the difference you can always enable it, tho I don't know anybody that has. Follow these steps: 1. Click the Start orb and type REGEDIT in the Start Search area. 2. Open the Registry Editor. 3. Click the plus sign next to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE then SYSTEM then CurrentControlSet then Control then Session Manager then MemoryManagement then click PrefetchParameters 4. On the right side, double-click on EnableSuperfetch 5. Give it one of the following values: 0 to disable Superfetch 1 to enable prefetching when program is launched 2 to enable boot prefetching 3 to enable prefectching of everything Click OK. 6. Close the Registry Editor. now if there are particular apps or games you like to enable superprefetch for, you can make a shortcut to that app/game and add this switch

My pleasure, save those steps on your PC in a txt file and then when ever you want to go enable you can just repeat and you have what each value is, good luck
