Is it reasonable cooling an Intel Core i5-13600KF with air cooler?

Sure can. Use a quality air cooler like Noctua listed in the configurator and you’ll have all the cooling you need.

I had liquid cooling in all of my previous DS machines going back to 2008. My thinking was that liquid would cool better, and with less noise.
However, last summer I upgraded to a Velox with a Noctua DH-15S air cooler. I'm still shocked at how well it performs. My CPU never exceeds 70C, and my fan speeds rarely go above 800 RPM. This is the most well-cooled and quiet machine I've ever owned. Plus, liquid cooled machines have more parts to fail. One of my previous LC machines had a leak, and now my carpet has a permanent red stain. Another time the cooling pump failed. Noctua air coolers seem just as effective, just as quiet, and more reliable. The only downside is that you need some significant space inside your case for these monster air coolers. |

I use air cooling on my Lumos with an Intel Core i7-9700K.
I used the "High Performance Copper Heat Pipe Cooler" that was offered by DS at the time of my build (August 2019). Have not had any problems to date. |

The Noctua offered here is even a bit of overkill for that proc. That's how good it is. Nothing at all wrong with that if it fits your budget. I had a DH-12 (120MM fans vs 150MM) on my first DS build, and it never failed in constant use for nearly 8 years. When I say constant use, I mean I leave my system on 24/7. My current system has an AIO, and it's not faltered in five years, but my next rig will be air cooled if they still have it.
