I am looking to buy from you guys and i just have a few config questions on some cooling and overclocking info.

These would be with either the 850si or 950si cases:

I would probably go air cooled. Is stage 3 worth the upgrade or should i stick with level 2. Is stage 3 alot louder than two? What are the differences?

I would also probably go dual core(e8400/8500). About how much of an increase in cpu speed could i get if i paid to get mine overclocked?

Also would a 750w power supply be enough (hoping to pick up a gtx 280 when its released. just one though)

And finally between the two cases im guessing the 850si is cooler but louder. And im looking to keep my rig relatively quiet. So ill probably go with the 950si.

I'm looking to keep my rig in the high 1ks without a graphics card. Any other advice on mobo's and ram would be greatly appreciated.

Stage 3 is great for large cases, I have a Cosmos S with stage 3. Its pretty good at keeping everything cool. Its definally louder then my last computer though thats for sure. Not enough to be annoying, but enough that you know its there.

850 is a better air cooler, imo

with the 850, stage 3 is 110% worth it, you are getting way more than an $80 value

theres never a garentee with overclocking, id suggest quad core, personally, but you can hope for a 20-40% increase

not sure about the new card, youll have to look that up

if youre concerned with keeping things quiet the 750 may not be a bad choice, especially if you are trying to stay under 1k

my personal choice would be an asus max / 2gb @ 1066, but keeping the thing under 2k will be tough to stay on par with the GPU youre looking at

K i am able to keep the whole thing under 2000 without a graphics card.

850si case
750w powersupply
quad q9450
780i sli motherboard
2ghz corsair ddr2 1066mhz Dominator
320gb WD
Air Cooling Stage 3
And: Overclock my cpu with complete stability

I cant go any more expensive than that, but should i change any of these options to save a few bucks in one spot and spend a few more in another?

That's a very strong setup. I wouldn't change anything.

You could always take off any overclocking if you have it and learn on your own if you really want to save.  I wouldn't recommend that though.

I do like the configuration choices they offer here at Digital Storm, a lot of great stuff here :)

It is hard to go wrong especially since after you ordered if you did make any mistakes one of the sales guys calls you to correct the issue with the config.
