That 900 Vertical Resoluton seems... minimal.

I'd wait on a better resolution.. while the wrap-around looks cool... I'm just not sold yet.

Remember, 30"s are 2560x1600... and will likely be less expensive.

I wouldn't go near it based on the fact that alienware/dell produces nothing but overpriced, low-quality garbage. Show me one from sony, where at least I know the quality will be decent to accompany the retarded price tag.

Dell monitors are actually some of the best and Sony monitors are complete garbage.

I bought a Dell monitor for my DS system. It is the new Silver edition 22" monitor. Has a built in webcam and mic. Not sure if they are worth using, but the monitor had some impressive features. My 19" Dell LCD has been going strong for 3 years now, and that's more than I can say for the desktop, lol

It's funny how Sony sucks at making computer monitors but they are damn good at making HDTV's.

any of you guys see sonys new OLED HDTV?  Check out the specs on this beast.

Once upon a time, Dell monitors are made by Sony according to Dell's specs using Sony technology. Don't know who made the Dell monitors now, though--- but they do have really good monitors even if Dell PCs sucks.

Impressive contrast ratio but pricing and life span is going to be very disappointing.

Samsung Laser > Sony OLED

Sony doesn't manufacturer the screens for their stuff or Dell's. The screens are mostly from Samsung.

OLED is pretty sick though. I'll take a 1,000,000:1 ratio, or whatever the ridiculous number is, any day, lol. Wish I could afford it.
