My Monitor is 20 inch wide screen at 1680x1050 used for wow and lotr online games.

I was happy with current computer that has intel Q9300 Quad 2.5 and nvidia 250 video card. Problem is it crashes and often have to jiggle the video card to make it work.

Questions.
1. the P55M SLI motherboard. Will it do the job?
2. I am considering upgrading in a few years to crossfired Ati 5770 cards. Will digital storm do that upgrade in their free labor upgrade center?
3. Will the DS warranty install any bad parts for the 3 years free of labor charges if I ship the computer to them? Will they pay the return shipping charges? I can slide the side off and blow air and jiggle the video card and thats about it.
4. How are the dust filters inside that scout case cleaned? How do I get to the filter on the bottom thats under the power supply to clean it?
5. Will DS send me the windows 7 install disk with the computer?

I know there are better configurations but I can not afford them. Have to borrow for this one.
I went for the scout case because it has dust filters and looks good and will fit on the desk.
DS lists the video card as more important than cpu so getting best card I can afford now. I do not expect these DS prices to last long.

Any suggestions or comments welcome.

You guys are great.

That x58 platform config doesn't have an add on cooler, but even with the stock Intel cooler a i7 930 should be able to hit 3.3-3.5Ghz overclock, and you would then also have hyper-threading for a total of 8 threads vs the 750's 4. The EVGA Micro motherboard has two PCIe x16 slots which would let you run two ATI 5770 in Crossfire, but you would be out of PCIe at that point. If you think you would need more PCIe slots for any other add on cards you would need to select the EVGA LE for +$29.

However if that still costs too much then there isn't really much that can be done about it, and the P55 platform isn't terrible and will shave a bit of the price off. But you lose some performance, motherboard functionality, and upgradability (if you went with a x58 system you could later on pop in a cheap six-core Intel i7, instead of having to move up to a whole new system).

They do ship you the Windows 7 install disk with your PC, so you are free to reinstall as needed. Digital Storm's warranty page states "If you would like Digital Storm to upgrade your system for you, you will be responsible for shipping costs back and forth and a small labor fee." The good news though, is that video cards are probably the second easiest things to install next to RAM sticks. If you've ever played with LEGOs then they were preparing you for this day. They just slide neatly into the PCIe slot until they are in firmly, at which point they usually make a click noise, and then you just plug in the power cord on the back of them. This video from Digital Storm on reseating parts will show you how.
