Well , since iv seen how DS paints their HAFS i decided to take it upon myself to try to paint mine. i didn't wanna do the whole thing, but to get a feel for what it would look like i took some pictures of the extra floppy drive cover that i had to see.

ya thats what im debating too. i may buy some white and repaint that bay cover. we'll see what happens

haha no prep work or anything. i chose rustloium for that specific peice. but when i do my actual cause im going to use duplicolor and then use a clear coat on top of it to prevent scratches.

the metal from the grill takes the paint really well. i dont see the need to prime or sand it. from what i'v gathered it works just fine.

make sure you use a lot of thin coats, it will come out better that way.

next couple of mods will be, CD rom tray front red, MAYBE the front side mesh red. and im currently painting the bottem grill as we speak. tahts why its off in the pics.

any other suggestions on what i could do ?
