Thanx folks..I would have gone for the Aventum but the window faces the wrong direction for me as I have a custom desk that I made a few years back and it has a perm. spot on my right for the PC to sit within.I wonder though if you can fit the monitoring and lighting system from the Aventum into the Hailstorm case ?

I'd say DS says NO to the Aventum's  monitoring and lighting into the Hailstorm.

This brings such fond memories of when I first ordered. I know of one other HS II customer that specified dual loop cooling and additional res. I assume the single loop is default, but don't know the radiator and cooling fan config. My build is similar, but two titans is all I could spring for.

Quick disconnects are cool, but it's not too hard to unplug a compression fitting and have it drain a system or plug it to prevent it from leaking. The reason why we don't offer them site wide is that it's very, very expensive for them. Usually around $150+ for a system.

Nevertheless, we can definitely offer them to our customers, our team can help with a quote.

I am assuming it extra for a dual loop on the HS II? Not including the quick disconnects.

Hey folks,
thanks for all lol but grrrrrrr is 4:pm here (EST) and I haven't heard from DS yet.tried calling them this morning and unfortunately got a (and I'm not saying any was bad about his abilities or helpfulness) new employee who mostly worked the software side of things.lol once we figured out that he had little hardware knowledge I asked him to have one of their more knowledgeable associates contact me since I was spending as much as I was -w- them. just getting sweaty palms in anticipation so no fault .

Quick note on the disconnects, it was about 180 if I remember for the complete set.  I had them installed because I will be shipping my rig from Maine to Hawaii after my leave expires.  I wanted to make sure I could drain my system to prevent any mishaps durring the shipment.   I will drain it before and just refill it when I get back.

Yup,good idea budwiesneras I said earlier I have several friends that swear by Quick Disconnects and if they are building LQ rigs ,will not use anything but unless the person simply cannot afford them.they are great but as Alex pointed out ,it's the pricing that has kept them from offering them site wide.
lmao I know that there are a lot of special order items on mine but am still hopeful of getting it within their 10-15 business day timeline and if not it is still cool as I know what its gonna be like when it hits my front door

Tio - you should be very pleased with the new rig. Gerardo told me these stage 5 - CPU, chipset & GPS are dual loop by default. I have a small creeper like car mechanics use, except made from oak. I've forgotten where I got it but it really helps move a large case easily.
