Greetings Fellow Computer freaks and geeks!

Like most here I want a Kick ass Computer in preformance and looks! When I get back to the states I am building from the ground up. The only thing I am keeping from my old computer is the mouse and the HD as a 3rd/back up drive! So I am looking for a new monitor. The use of the computer will be mostly for gaming, video editing, and movies. Video games: Unreal Tournament, Call of Duty, Need for Speed, And I would like to try out Starcraft, Metro and Crysis after reading all the great reviews. As for budget about $4,500 give or take!

My dream would go like is this:

I just dont like the price, lol.

Side notes:
1. I would like to keep stage 2 OC
2. I would like liquid cooling
3. LC chipset is cooling what?
4. Cases- HAF X or HAF 932 are my favorite on looks

Any thoughts?

Well buddie I'm afraid your set up is quite all right. If you want that kinda lc then u must buy from the black ops section which means you gotta pay a high price. I rly find nothing wrong in your set up except if u need the sound card or not but if u gonna make that kinda rig then why not inckude a sound card. Another option you got is to go special deals and use only stage3 or 4 liquid cool, forgot which but yea that would cut the price way down but I think those are your only choices. Also I hear to make the lc go to max performance or for quiet u gotta buy a diff rad or fans or both, forgot but either one haha

well you can get down to your price range by dropping the sound card and the ssd, these are definitely your lowest cost:gaming performance ratio

but if it were me personally, i would drop the second 480... this will drastically open up your options, give you back the ssd, and put a chunk of cash in your wallet to buy the next big card instead of subjecting yourself to the nightmare of sli
$3811

aight aight what RES are you gaming at....that determines exactly what video card you need, unless you game at higher that 1920x1080, then you probably don't need TWO 480s...lol

Well if I were to get 2 480s I would buy a monitor to do it just! My old monitor has a loose conection and is a 14' crt.

24" 1920x1200 you want the HP ZR24w. ~ $400.Way best bang for your buck in this size, and the single card will be great. Gorgeous panel. Full review here:

The 80g SSD is really all you need. Not everything goes on here. OS, apps you use a lot. Rest of the space is for a few games, but not everything you've got, just the ones you're using now. Rotate 'em in and out. Most games don't get that much of a boost from an SSD.

I DK about the PSU choice unless it's for the LC. I didn't think it was that power intensive. For 1 480, 750 Corsair. For 2, (not recommended as !ender_ said) you need 1250 Enermax.

Chipset cooling is the mobo.

So I remade my configuration with the fathers day sale and it comes out $800 cheeper! Is the warranty really worth that much or did prices go down? If they went down, when are they going down again?  lol
