Every time I look at the Vanquish 3's it keeps talking about a alternative chassis (I imagine this is the case) and was wondering what the difference was between the 2(besides looks) like if one is bigger then the other or is quieter stuff like that.

The default case, grey, is a bit longer and has 2x 120mm front fans and a rear 120mm fan.  It's the Corsair 230T if you want to Google it.

The Alternate black case, has a single 120mm front fan.   It's the Cooler master K380.    

The 230t has better airflow with the added fans and the K380 has the option to mount a side panel fan if needed.   

Either work with the setups shown.
