Alex,
Can you ask the team? You're building me an x17 with the 7970M GPU. I'm using the machine primarily for FSX Flight Sim and I need the thing to stay on the GPU rather than switching to the integrated graphics to save power. Battery life doesn't matter to me. Some say it's a bios config and most don't really know on the techie boards. Is there a way for me to have the 7970M running full time without Enduro switching it off? I'm going to assume the cooling is good enough to allow it to run full time. Thanks Alex Bobby edit: The reason being is that, since I'm pulling huge amount of photoscenery data off the secondary drive, the "switching" of the GPU's may cause micro stutters of the scenery while flying.

Sure! The driver should keep the 7970GPU on while you have the FSX game running, but, you could force the driver to always have the 7970GPU possibly in some driver setting area under the AMD Control Panel. |

That's the question
Everything else I own uses NVidia so I'm able to look in the NVidia control panel but I don't have anything from AMD so I don't have a Catalyst Control Panel to look. Everything on the AMD site says the driver will switch automatically but I can't find anywhere that it says there's a setting to disable Enduro. It's possible that the switching won't matter but FSX is such a dog that it needs all the help I can give it.
